Ythan Greenshank

Greenshank YB-BR was ringed, as a first year bird, on the Ythan Estuary, 12km north of Aberdeen in NE Scotland on Aug 13th 2006, as part of a study into numbers/origins/turnover/site fidelity and onward movements of greenshank using the estuary during autumn passage.

It arrived on the Camel Estuary just 9 days after leaving its breeding grounds, on Sept 13th 2006, and has wintered on the Camel Estuary ever since.
