A small pond at the south end of Padstow viewable from the Camel Trail. Park at the small layby at Porthilly View, Padstow and walk 50metres south to view. (Please respect residents privacy).
Although this site is small, it is generally sheltered and the hedgerows and trees around the pond often hold wintering warblers. The pond itself has held most of the commoner ducks from Mallard through to Scaup. Up to 12 Little Grebe have been noted in some winters and Kingfishers are often spotted flying to and from the estuary. Always worth a look if your in the area.
