An odd Reed Bunting was noted by C Selway at Rosennanon Downs today, all feather edgings to upper-parts pale-buff not reddish-brown, practically unmarked under-parts, pinkish base to lower mandible, normal female type crown, possibly an eastern bird?

  1. Also in fields north of Rosenannon Downs – 1 Woodcock in flight, 60+fieldfare, 10+Redwing, GS Woodpecker, 2 Goldcrest, 4 Mistle Thrush 2 Coal Tit and 4 Raven.
    Many thanks for a great site,it keeps me coming back to the area for all the interesting sightings.
