The area at the mouth of the Camel Estuary. Viewing is easiest from the eastern shore, parking at either Polzeath Beach, (SW928776), or Daymer Bay, (SW936789), and walking along the coast path. From the western shore the best viewing area is just south of Stepper Point. (Please note there is no parking at Hawker’s Cove).
Situated in the middle of the Camel Estuary, this area is favoured by Oystercatchers, Greenshank and loathing gulls. Ospreys are often watched feeding in this area during passage periods. Best viewed from the Camel Trail, parking at Old Town Cove Car Park, at SW939738. © Camelbirder 2012

This large area is between Padstow in the west and Rock in the east. The whole area can be viewed from the Camel Trail in the west and south but also from Rock.

A small pond at the south end of Padstow viewable from the Camel Trail. Park at the small layby at Porthilly View, Padstow and walk 50metres south to view. (Please respect residents privacy).
