Clapper Marshes; 22 Mallard, 8 Moorhen, 3 Fieldfare, 2 Little Grebe, 645 Redwing (25 east and 620 over west), 22 Canada Goose, 1 Little Egret, 1 Coot, 1 immature male Tufted Duck, 1 male Gadwall, 1 Heron, 600 Starlings flew northeast, 6 Robin, 1 Meadow Pipit, 14 Blackbird, 5 Carrion Crow, 20 jackdaw flew south west, 10 Rook flew southwest, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Dunnock, 1 Song Thrush, 2 Magpie, 1 Greenfinch. Treraven Woods; A minimum of 3000 Thrushes roosted in here this evening, although nearly all Redwing at least 40 Fieldfare where counted. Lesser numbers of both Blackbird and Song Thrush were also involved. (D Julian)
